How to use the GA-92XTd
Open it, or leave it closed
Pull the looped end until the shaft locks open, or work with it closed or part-way. Press ON and it starts on medium gain and high volume. The arrows change the gain.
Sweep and read the polarity
Sweep side to side until the tone climbs and the bar graph swings to plus or minus. Trace a slow X to find the strongest reading. A pipe lying flat reads plus at one end and minus at the other.

To change the battery, turn the screw on the end of the handle and tip it down, and the battery slides out. Keep the jack plug in when you're not using headphones. It helps keep water out.
